This heirloom variety is a long-day variety suited for the northern 2/3 of the US. White fleshed, sweet, and mild. This is a good winter keeper that grows to 1 pound when mature, but can be harvested when smaller. It's best to start onions indoors about the same time you start tomatoes - about 8 weeks before last frost.
