French Sorrel is an amazing old heirloom leafy-herb that needs to be in every garden. Very tender and sweet. 
The Egyptians consumed it, as did the Greeks, Romans, and Germanic tribes. Aids in digestion, and is loaded with vitamins C and A. I use it in salads and as an addition to soups and stews. Goes well with salmon.
