Growing Parsley

Parsley has the reputation of being extremely difficult for home gardeners to germinate. Fear not, it really isn't that difficult. By soaking the seeds in warm water (not hot) you will substantially increase your success. It is also important to understand that germination typically takes anywhere from two to four weeks, depending upon temperature and moisture. Sow seeds outdoors in early Spring, 2 inches apart, and cover with 1/4 inch of soil. Later thin the plants to 4 inches apart.
